Lake Louise

Hello all!
We’ve arrived in Alberta - it’s been a long day of driving... We’ve started our car games, such as finding wildlife for money (deer, mountain goat, cananda goose - 25 cents, to Dinosaurs - $100) the shut-up game (Seeing who can make their candy last the longest. Works very well will hard candies, such as mentos or Werthers originals.), and - our favorite - the find-the-license-plate-from-every-province-and-state game. So far we’ve found 19 provinces and states all together. We finally arrived at Lake Louise, and we set up camp as quickly as possible as to avoid the deadly mosquitoes, which I strongly detest. They are abundant, even in cold weather :(
We went on an excrushiatingly long walk along the lake, but it was so beautiful - the colour was like no other I’d ever seen before. We saw a porcupine!! It was so amazing! I'd never seen one before - it was as big as Taysia! But fatter. Probably weighed 80 pounds, and as prickly as my mother's legs.
